When in Rome

No, we haven't been to Rome recently, but our country has some pretty impressive Roman ruins that we visited while my parents were here. We had fun walking around, thinking about what life might have been like back then. Seems like everything was so big!


Of course, our two historians had to have the listening guide.


James went on a Roman chariot ride with Daddy and Papaw. He was not impressed.






This is John showing us how if you stand in the middle and talk, you can be heard throughout the entire amphitheater.







Arab men always want to hold and play with James. This guy was selling paintings outside of the ruins. James was quite fascinated with his prayer beads.
