As a gift for Angela's birthday, we were sent for 2 nights at a fabulous hotel at the Dead Sea. We had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the time away, lazing around by the pool.
Living here, we have come to appreciate some things about getting away that we never would have thought of before. We took at least a couple showers a day (no water shortages at the hotel) and we even flushed our toilet paper! Angela was thrilled to get to wear short sleeve shirts and tank tops. We we are both excited to wear shorts. And we even got to hold hands in public! ;) Ahh... the little things we've come to appreicate.
As John's gift to Angela, she got to enjoy some treatments at the spa. As she was being pampered, John got burnt to a crisp by the pool while reading his book for class(This will make for great conversation with our landlord who has assured us many times that it is impossible to burn at the Dead Sea).
Here we are covered in Dead Sea mud. It made your skin feel super soft, and made for a great picture. :)
