Baby Shower - Take 2

My sweet friend, Sara, hosted a baby shower for me this past week with all of the American ladies here in town! We had a great time and once again, James got so much cute stuff!! This kid is going to be the best dressed little boy I’ve ever seen, and he’s going to have some many fun things to play with!

We are so blessed to such a great family of brothers and sisters here in the Middle East to take care of us and love on us while our biological family is so far away.

Sara was so thoughtful and made sure that she had diabetic friendly snacks at my shower. She even had a Diet Dr. Pepper for me since I can’t have punch! What a great friend!

The best part of this shower was the very last part of it. All the women gathered around me and lifted me, James, and John up to our Father. What a privilege to have these sisters taking me before the throne at such an important time. To have them lift up my labor and delivery, all the life changes that we’re about to experience, and James’ life and eternity was so encouraging.
