Time in OKC

We spent about a week in Oklahoma City with John’s family. We hadn’t seen any of them since we left the States October 2007! It had been way too long so this was a very welcomed reunion! John’s brother and his family even came in from Tucson so we could see them as well.




We spent lots of time in the pool with our nieces and nephew, and enjoyed American shopping and eating! I think John’s dad grilled steaks for us like 3 times. John’s mom had stocked the freezer with about 6 different flavors of Blue Bell ice-cream (including my favorite Rocky Road!), and we did plenty of eating out.

Mostly we just enjoyed getting to spend time with John’s family.
We are very blessed to have such wonderful family! It’s so hard being so far away from them! We didn’t get a ton of pictures while we were there, but here are just a few.


This is our youngest niece, Caedis. She was born May of 2008, we were thrilled to finally get to meet her while we were there!
